I study the neural and behavioural foundations of interpersonal communication, with a particular focus on verbal interaction and joint action. My research examines how brains and behaviour coordinate during conversation, how shared understanding emerges, and how sensory, linguistic, and motor processes contribute to social interaction.
I am a Profesor Distinguido (Beatriz Galindo) at the Universidad de La Laguna, Tenerife, and a member of the Instituto Universitario de Neurociencia (IUNE).
